UVA CARDINAL
This editorial project documents Uva Cardinal, a local grape harvest and community celebration in Guagnano. The photographic work follows both the harvesting phase and the evening festivities of the sagra, moving between process and celebration. Alongside a more observational approach to the agricultural work, the project adopts an ironic and light tone during the public event, capturing the collective energy, rituals and informal moments that define the festival. Rather than a purely documentary account, the images build a visual narrative that balances tradition and contemporaneity, focusing on gestures, encounters and atmosphere as expressions of local identity.
