This long-term editorial project was commissioned by the Comune di Guagnano and developed over nearly two years as a visual and cultural exploration of the town and its community. The project was promoted by Mayor François Imperiale and Cultural Councillor Andrea Rizzo, who entrusted the photographic direction to Ilenia Tesoro, alongside the development of the city branding curated by Andrea Vitti. Rather than offering a celebratory or promotional representation, the photographic work focuses on everyday life, gestures, faces and places, building an intimate and contemporary portrait of Guagnano. The project unfolds through observation and proximity, allowing the images to emerge from real encounters and lived experiences. This selection represents only a fragment of a broader body of work, conceived as an evolving visual archive — one that reflects the identity of the territory through time, memory and collective presence.
