These portraits were developed in connection with Isla Diferente, Populous’ album released in 2025, whose visual universe moves between mysticism, esoteric references and a forward-looking, almost futuristic sensibility. The photographic concept draws directly from the album’s dominant color palette — shades of green and blue — using these tones as a foundation to build a coherent and immersive visual atmosphere. Rather than illustrating the music, the images aim to extend its emotional and symbolic landscape. The photographs were intentionally treated to introduce a subtle sense of digital processing, creating a visual texture that feels suspended between organic and technological. This approach allows the portraits to retain a contemplative and intimate quality while distancing them from a purely polished or contemporary aesthetic.
